Final Cut Pro X
I have’t purchased Final Cut Pro X yet, but I am watching what others have to say about it. Initially it seems most folks say it is lacking some key professional features that Final Cut 7 has. Others are saying it’s a glorified version of iMovie and shouldn’t have the word “Pro” included in its title.
I can’t speak with any authority on this so I’ll post links from others far braver than I that have purchased the software and started reviewing it.

Thanks for the link Chris.
No problem Ron. It’s a good post. We don’t have to have all that is shiny and new! I’m just at guilty as the next creative for wanting the latest and greatest.
Is there a way to get the previous version?
I’m sure you can FCP Studio 2 on e-bay. It includes Final Cut Pro 7.
